A good entry option for creating exams and quizzes with automatic grading, with a genuinely usable free plan, though the volume of public reviews on G2 and Capterra is still low for drawing very solid conclusions about the average user experience.

FlexiQuiz is a tool specialized in creating online quizzes, exams and surveys, with automatic grading and certificate issuance. This review combines public product documentation with the verified reviews available on Capterra and G2.

What FlexiQuiz is and who it’s for

FlexiQuiz is a platform for creating quizzes, exams and surveys without coding, with automatic grading, anti-cheating controls and customizable certificates on completion. It’s aimed mainly at trainers, educational centers, HR departments and small businesses that need to assess knowledge — of students, employees or candidates — without implementing a full learning management system (LMS).

What it’s like to use day to day

The quiz builder works in blocks: you add different question types (multiple choice, true/false, free text), configure scoring rules and, if desired, anti-cheating controls like time limits, randomizing question order or restricting to a single attempt per user. On completion, the platform can automatically issue a custom certificate branded with the exam creator’s identity.

Real user reviews

FlexiQuiz still has a fairly limited review volume compared with other names in the category: on Capterra, available ratings hover around 4.3 out of 5 over a limited number of reviews, and on G2 it sits around 4 out of 5. Among existing reviews, the most valued aspects are product functionality and support responsiveness, while some reviews point to occasional less-satisfactory customer service experiences.

The same low-volume pattern repeats on the other two platforms reviewed for this update. On GetApp, FlexiQuiz has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 with only 8 reviews. On Trustpilot, it has barely 9 reviews at the time of this review, with a more mixed tone: aggregating the figures available across different software comparison sources, the average is around 3.8 out of 5, with 10 five-star ratings against 4 one-star and one three-star. Among the negative reviews, one documented case stands out where a user reported that a survey’s data export came out unreadable — with no clear indication of which question each exported column corresponded to — after having invested around $500 in study participants, with a vendor response the reviewer themselves described as not very helpful.

It’s worth qualifying this whole block of reviews with the usual bias of review platforms: people who have a bad experience are more likely to leave a public review than those who are simply satisfied and keep using the tool without comment, and with such a low volume (9 reviews on Trustpilot, 8 on GetApp) each individual case — positive or negative — weighs disproportionately on the final average, much more than for products with hundreds or thousands of reviews. This doesn’t invalidate the negative cases reported, but it does mean they can’t be generalized as representative of the average FlexiQuiz user experience. Even so, as of this review (September 2026) it’s the data available, and we report it honestly rather than omit it.

Pricing and plans

FlexiQuiz’s free plan lets you create quizzes and exams with a limit of 20 responses a month, enough to try the tool before paying. Paid plans are Essentials ($25/month), aimed at educators starting to build courses and exams; Premium ($30/month), which adds integrated sales pages and more automation, aimed at small teams and entrepreneurs; and Enterprise ($89/month), aimed at organizations that need training at scale with more advanced integrations and greater collaboration. There’s also a custom Enterprise+ plan with dedicated support and custom development. Paying annually instead of monthly saves over 25%.

Methodology for this review

This analysis is based on public product documentation (official site and pricing table) and the verified reviews available on Capterra and G2, checked in September 2026. This product’s review volume is smaller than others reviewed at Product Auditors, which was taken into account when assessing the consistency of opinions. It does not replace our own extensive testing with a long-term active account. You can read more in our editorial methodology.

Not the best fit if
  • Large organizations that need a full LMS with course tracking, not just one-off assessment
  • Anyone looking for a very large base of user reviews before deciding, given the still-limited volume on independent platforms

  • Automatic exam grading with certificate issuance on completion
  • Anti-cheating controls (time limits, question randomization, attempt restrictions) included from accessible plans
  • Good rating on Capterra among available reviews, with support and ease of use as the most-cited strengths

👎 Cons
  • The free plan caps out at just 20 responses a month, a low threshold compared with other quiz tools
  • The volume of verified reviews on G2 and Capterra is still small compared with more established competitors
  • Integrated sales pages and advanced automation are only available from the Premium plan
  • The price jump to the Enterprise plan ($89/month) is considerable compared with Premium ($30/month)
